Weekend Roll: NYC & Spring Weather in January
So, a new year. And a new decade. And for NYC, we only had at wait a handful of days before being #blessed with unseasonably warm weather to help kick it off. With this sort of combination landing on a Saturday, there was no doubt that the team would come out in full force to partake in it all.
In the end we didn’t stray far from our usual roads - across the GWB, up River Road, and out and back along 9W. But with the temperatures tipping mid-60’s a basic out and back route didn’t dampen the mood in the slightest. Spirits were high, our legs felt good after the first few weeks of training, and the mid-ride doughnuts were delicious as always.
We have a big year ahead, with some big changes in store. But after this past weekend, we are confident that we are kicking it all off right. Here’s to a new year and a new decade.
